I am grateful to Jonathan Tait-Harris of Vivid Blue Marine (VBM) for his help in selling my Elizabethan 23 recently. Because of her age her value meant it would not be economic for VBM to show people over her under the normal brokerage arrangements. Instead he contracted to advertise and handle messages about her for a fixed sum, on the understanding that I would show potential buyers round. He quickly advised on the price, listed her with an admirable video, and received a number of responses. Because I was not available at a time to suit the first potential buyer Jonathan went beyond the terms of his contract and showed him round, resulting in a quick sale. Excellent service!
