Boat Description

2016 TRUSTY T23 “OLIETTE”

Yanmar 54hp diesel | 365 hours | Coppercoat | Bow thruster | New 2026 Beaufort Canvas cockpit enclosure | New upholstery | Immaculate presentation

Oliette is a beautifully presented 2016 Trusty T23, maintained to a notably high standard and offered in immaculate condition.

The Trusty T23 is a particularly appealing British-built semi-displacement motor cruiser, combining traditional styling and substantial construction with excellent seakeeping, an enclosed wheelhouse and remarkably useful accommodation for a boat of her size.

Oliette has clearly benefited from careful ownership and regular maintenance. Her Yanmar 54hp diesel engine has recently been serviced and has recorded approximately 365 hours, while the hull and superstructure have also been recently cleaned and polished.

Below the waterline she benefits from a Coppercoat antifouling system. She is being lifted in late August 2026, when the underwater surfaces will be cleaned.

A particularly worthwhile recent improvement is the completely new 2026 cockpit enclosure manufactured by Beaufort Canvas, complemented by new upholstery, leaving the cockpit looking exceptionally smart and providing a useful additional sheltered living area.

ENGINE & MECHANICAL

Oliette is powered by a Yanmar 54hp diesel engine, well matched to the Trusty's substantial semi-displacement hull.

The engine has been recently serviced and shows approximately 365 hours.

The inventory records approximately:

Cruising speed: 6 knots at around 2,500rpm
Maximum speed: approximately 7.5 knots
Fuel consumption: approximately 3.5 litres per hour
Fuel capacity: approximately 110 litres in a stainless-steel tank
A Side-Power bow thruster assists considerably with close-quarters handling and marina manoeuvring.

The fixed propeller installation is also fitted with a rope cutter.

HULL & DECK

Year: 2016
HIN: GB-WBM23046G616
LOA: approximately 6.92m
Beam: approximately 2.84m
Displacement: approximately 2,600kg

The hull and superstructure have been recently polished and present exceptionally well.

The underwater hull is protected by Coppercoat, reducing the requirement for conventional annual antifouling. The boat is scheduled to be lifted and the underwater surfaces cleaned in late August 2026.

Deck areas incorporate Tek-Dek, giving an attractive traditional appearance while remaining practical and relatively low maintenance.

Ground tackle includes a Bruce anchor, approximately 30 metres of chain with plaited warp, together with a Quick electric anchor windlass.

A boarding ladder is fitted at the transom.

COCKPIT

The substantial aft cockpit is a major feature of the Trusty T23 and greatly extends the usable living space aboard.

In 2026 Oliette received a completely new cockpit enclosure by Beaufort Canvas, providing excellent protection from the weather and creating an additional sheltered area for relaxing or entertaining.

The cockpit has also benefited from new upholstery, contributing to the exceptionally fresh presentation of the boat.

WHEELHOUSE & NAVIGATION

The enclosed wheelhouse provides a comfortable, protected helm position with excellent all-round visibility.

Navigation equipment recorded within the inventory includes:

Raymarine eS128 chartplotter
Raymarine i70 multifunction display
Log and speed information
Depth sounder
Icom IC-M423G DSC VHF radio
Additional Icom radio equipment
Ritchie compass
Oliette is not presently fitted with radar or an autopilot.

ACCOMMODATION

One of the attractions of the Trusty T23 is the amount of usable accommodation contained within her relatively compact dimensions.

Approximately 2 + 1 berths are available, making the boat particularly suitable for a couple while still providing occasional additional sleeping accommodation.

The interior is light, practical and extremely well presented, with useful storage throughout.

Webasto diesel heating extends the practical cruising season considerably and makes the boat comfortable during cooler spring and autumn cruising.

Oceanair blinds are also fitted.

GALLEY

The galley is equipped for comfortable weekends and longer periods aboard and includes:

Sink
Hot and cold pressurised water
Cooker
Refrigerator
Useful storage
HEADS

A separate heads compartment is fitted with a manual Jabsco marine toilet.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The inventory records separate engine and domestic battery provision together with charging arrangements and shore-power capability.

BROKER'S COMMENTS

Oliette is an excellent example of a Trusty T23 and stands out for the standard of her presentation and the obvious care invested in her upkeep.

Her low-hour Yanmar diesel, bow thruster, Coppercoat, diesel heating and comprehensive navigation equipment provide an excellent cruising specification, while the new 2026 Beaufort Canvas cockpit enclosure and new upholsteryrepresent significant recent investment.

The Trusty T23 offers many of the qualities normally associated with considerably larger motor cruisers: a protected wheelhouse, substantial construction, proper accommodation and reassuring sea-going manners, while remaining economical and manageable.

For anyone seeking a high-quality, traditional British motor cruiser for coastal cruising and comfortable weekends aboard, Oliette deserves close inspection.

Presented in immaculate condition and ready for her next owner to enjoy.
