Designed originally by the legendary Ray Hunt and refined by Alan V. Burnard, this model became the benchmark for offshore performance and handling. Throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, the Huntsman 28 was a dominant force on the racing circuit, collecting trophies and a loyal following that continues to this day.

This particular Huntsman 28, built in 1969, is Hull No. 112 and presents a fine opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of this iconic aft-cockpit motor yacht. She’s powered by her original pair of Perkins T6354 145hp contra-rotating diesel engines, both of which have been removed and comprehensively serviced in recent years. All ancillary equipment has been refurbished as required, including new hoses, cleaned heat exchangers, fresh belts, and new fluids throughout — ensuring she’s mechanically in excellent order.

In May 2024, she was lifted for new antifouling and anodes, and at the same time benefitted from fresh exterior varnish and a repainted coachroof, leaving her gleaming and ready for the season ahead.
