The Sadler 26

The Sadler 26 is notable for its unusual double-skin GRP construction, with polyurethane foam between the outer hull and internal moulding. This provides substantial inherent buoyancy as well as additional stiffness, insulation and resistance to condensation.

The design became particularly well known following a celebrated test in which a Sadler 26 was deliberately flooded yet remained afloat, stable and capable of being sailed.
