1996 Sunseeker International Portofino 375 – Clarichelle IV

A beautifully presented example of one of Sunseeker's finest sports cruisers.

Vivid Blue Marine are delighted to offer Clarichelle IV, an exceptionally well-presented 1996 Sunseeker International Portofino 375. Designed by the renowned Don Shead, the Portofino 375 has earned a deserved reputation as one of the finest sports cruisers of its generation, combining superb sea-keeping, timeless styling and practical luxury. This particular example is a genuine credit to her owners and is presented in outstanding condition throughout.

Stepping aboard, it is immediately apparent that Clarichelle IV has been maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The cockpit is spacious and sociable, providing generous seating for family and guests together with a cockpit refrigerator, transom shower and davits, making her equally suited to relaxed weekends afloat or extended cruising.

Below decks, the accommodation is remarkably spacious for a yacht of this size. The interior is bright, elegant and beautifully cared for, with immaculate white leather upholstery, renewed approximately eight years ago and still presenting as new. Spotlessly clean white carpets further enhance the luxurious feel throughout.

Sleeping accommodation comfortably caters for up to six people. The forward owner's cabin features a generous island double berth, while the separate midships guest cabin provides twin berths. The saloon dinette converts easily into an additional double berth when required, making the yacht ideal for family cruising or entertaining overnight guests.

The well-equipped galley includes a two-burner gas hob, oven and refrigerator, allowing comfortable onboard living for extended weekends or coastal cruising.

Power is provided by twin Volvo Penta KAMD42 diesel engines, each producing approximately 250hp, with engine hours of approximately 1,200 and 1,300 respectively. Both engines have been regularly serviced by the experienced owner and perform exactly as they should. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and organised, reflecting the meticulous care given throughout the vessel.

The sterndrives benefit from replacement bellows and gaiters completed during the previous season, while the yacht is hauled out annually for winterisation and routine maintenance. She is berthed on a drying mooring where she sits safely on the mud at low water, further demonstrating the owners' confidence in her condition and maintenance.

Practical upgrades include a bow thruster for effortless close-quarters manoeuvring, new batteries and updated electrical systems. Air conditioning is also fitted, providing additional comfort during warmer weather, while the radar remains operational and in service.

The Portofino 375 remains highly regarded amongst experienced owners thanks to her excellent offshore handling characteristics. Her deep-V hull delivers a reassuring ride in a variety of sea conditions, while the twin Volvo diesel installation provides an excellent balance of performance, reliability and sensible fuel consumption. Typical cruising speeds are around 24–26 knots, with maximum speeds approaching 32 knots depending upon loading, sea state and hull condition.
